Augusta & Co is proud to announce our role as exclusive financial advisor to Vestas and PKA AIP on the acquisition of a combined 70% stake in the 353MW Blakliden and Fäbodberget wind park project located in Åsele and Lycksele Municipality in central Sweden from Vattenfall. The Vestas, PKA and Vattenfall partnership will jointly build and own the project, which is PKA’s first investment in onshore wind. Vestas will provide 353 MW of V136-4.2 MW turbines. The project’s total construction funding is around EUR 350m and will be partially funded by non-recourse project financing, with financial close expected to be finalised in the coming months.
As part of the transaction, Norsk Hydro has committed to purchase a majority of the power produced by the wind farm under a long-term power purchase agreement.
